Our year-round return policy indicates that items are eligible to be returned as long as they are posted within 30 days from the delivery date. Holiday gift returns are subject to the same timeline with possible exceptions at Bookshop.org's discretion.
Returning a Gift
We can apply a store credit in the amount of the order gifted once it is returned by the gift recipient. Return exchange instructions can be found below:

If you (or the gift recipient) does not yet have a user account, one will be necessary. Please share the email address of the user account once it's been created. We'll also need the order number of the gift order. If you not have the order number for the original gift order, please share either the email address used to place the order, or the first and last name of the gift sender.
Once the return is posted, please share the tracking number and we'll apply the amount of the returned books (+ tax and shipping) as a store credit to your user account.
