What is the difference between a bookstore and non-bookstore affiliate?

Modified on Sun, 8 Oct, 2023 at 5:58 PM

Established independent bookstores, with one of the following ABA memberships: Pop-up, Mobile, Storefront, or Provisional, that sign up on Bookshop.org to be affiliates have the benefit of being listed on our Find a Bookstore Map, as well as enjoying a 30% commission of every book purchased in their name. You'll also be added to our profit-share pool for independent bookstores which is split every six months (in July and January of each year).

Please email Justin Walls (justin.walls@bookshop.org) if you are a qualifying bookstore affiliate and he will get your Bookshop.org account upgraded.

Non-bookstore affiliates can include book bloggers, individual booksellers, book reviewers, and anyone else interested in creating an affiliate page independent of an established bookstore. Non-bookstore affiliates can create their own personal affiliate page and enjoy 10% commission of every book purchased in their name.
