Do I need an internet connection to read ebooks I’ve purchased?

Purchased ebooks are able to be downloaded to your device, via our apps for offline reading.

How do I save a book for offline reading? How do I know it’s available to read?

1. First make sure you are connected to an internet connection on the mobile device you have the Bookshop.org app installed on.
2. Then, in the app, navigate to your Ebook Library open the menu of the desired book by tapping the three dots underneath the cover.
3. From the menu select “Download” to download the title to your device.
4. Once an ebook is downloaded to your device, it will be available to read offline.
5. You can tell a title is already downloaded to your device because the cover won’t be greyed out, and when you tap on it, it opens immediately.
